Do you have any questions?

  • I am considered an out-of-network therapist with insurance companies. For out-of-network providers, most insurance companies will cover a partial percentage of your sessions. I will provide a statement of services once a month, also known as a superbill, that you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Here are a few questions to ask your insurance company about your coverage:

o Does my plan cover out-of-network outpatient mental health services? If so, is there a deductible?

o What percentage do you cover for the following services:

    • Individual Psychotherapy, CPT Code 90837

    • Family Therapy, CPT Code 90847

o Does my plan specifically cover this mental health provider:

    • Jeanne Paik, NPI 1154575611

  • I see the majority of my clients via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. However, I do have a limited number of spaces for in-person sessions in my Seattle office.

  • I recommend that clients start weekly in the beginning of our work to establish a strong rapport and a secure connection. However, this is a conversation best had with each individual. Whether due to financial reasons or emotional overwhelm, biweekly sessions can also be an effective pace for therapy.

The overall duration of therapy can also vary. When there’s a specific and acute issue that needs to be resolved, a handful of sessions may be sufficient. For ongoing areas of concern such as trauma, complex trauma, and attachment struggles, it can take more time to find safety, healing and trust. Very often, clients will see me seasonally, take breaks, and come back as needed.

When a client feels ready to discharge, there is usually a consistent sense of stability, confidence and vitality in their lives and in our sessions. We then decide to reduce our sessions to monthly check-ins, or honor our work together in the form of a final metaprocessing session.

  • o Initial Phone Consultation

    Free - 15 minutes

    o Individual Psychotherapy

    $175 - 50 minutes

A limited number of sessions have been reserved for clients who need a sliding scale fee.

  • For cancellations, I require a 48-hours notice before your scheduled appointment to avoid a full charge for your missed session. Emailing me (jeanne@ongoodness.com) is the best way to reach me for scheduling, scheduling changes and cancellations.

  • I like to work with each individual in a way that’s tailored to their needs and their style. Some clients thrive on a specific structure and a plan at the end of every session. Other clients work in a more fluid way, which allows room to explore whatever may be on your mind from the week or day. Unless otherwise stated, I will usually start our sessions with some form of breathwork and grounding exercise to frame the session from a mind-body perspective.
